Different card readers are available according to what kind of memory cards you’d like to read and edit. All of them enable you to read different memory cards via the USB port of your notebook or PC, but there are some differences that distinguish one from the other.
The smallest card reader available is the mobile Micro SD Card Reader/Writer which can only read micro SD cards. This card reader is as big as a 1c coin, which makes it all the more convenient to carry around. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac devices.
Ednet.’s SIM & Card Reader, on the other hand, is bigger but offers many more features: it supports mobile phone SIM cards and works with all commonly used compact sized cards from mobile phones and digital cameras; 36 types in all. It supports MicroSD/T-Flash/RS-MMC/SIM card standards, without the need of a converter, and allows you to sync your mobile phone’s SIM card data with your PC. This card reader comes in the form of a USB drive and comes with a protective cap, which makes it more suitable for having on the go.
We also have another 2 card readers on stock: the Digitus USB 2.0 – 10 in 1 Memory Card Reader, which also comes in the form of a USB drive, and the USB 2.0 All-in-One Card Reader, which can also read Compact Flash cards.
